Yin yoga is a slow paced style of yoga that incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with yoga asana (postures). In Yin yoga, asanas are held for longer periods of time (3-5 min each) and are meant to stimulate the subtle bodies or chakras, which are known as meridians in TCM. Yin yoga increases circulation to joints, improves flexibility, and brings a gentle awareness to your inner silence.

Kurma Restorative yoga uses props to relax the body and reduce stress. These postures are held for 6-8 minutes each and assist in resetting your nervous system.

A mini sound bath during savasana will be the perfect way to end this restorative class!

To be comfortable during the session, please wear warm, cozy layers with socks. Limited props and blocks will be available. If you have props or a bolster, please bring them with you!
